Push-button lockout devices cover equipment control buttons to prevent equipment from being started during servicing. A hard-sided lockout fits around or over the button so it can't be pressed. A padlock is required to ensure the lockout isn't removed by unauthorized personnel. These devices are an integral part of a facility lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure designed to meet the OSHA standard for the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout).
Clamp-On Push-Button Lockouts
Clamp-on push-button lockouts prevent mushroom style buttons from being pushed. The device fits around the button and is held in place by the button flange. These lockouts do not require a matching base plate to be fitted to the machine so they can be quickly reused across machines as needed.

Removable-Cover Push-Button Lockouts
These lockouts connect to a plate that has been installed beneath the push button. The cover is attached to the plate and locked in place when needed. The cover is fully removable and can be reused on other equipment as needed.

Hinged Push-Button Lockouts
These hinged lockouts permanently attach to machinery to prevent push buttons from being pressed when machinery is locked out. The cover stays in place when not locked to prevent accidental pressing.
