Electrical Lockout Devices

Available142 products
Electrical lockout devices prevent power from being restored or equipment energized while it's being serviced. They're an integral part of a facility lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure designed to meet the OSHA standard for the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout). Power is shutoff and the lockout device is applied to prevent equipment from being re-energized. A LOTO padlock is required to prevent the lockout from being removed by unauthorized personnel. Battery cable lockouts secure the lug end of a battery cable. Circuit breaker devices lock out access at the circuit itself, while electrical-plug lockouts prevent equipment from being plugged in. Electrical-switch lockouts allow power to be shut off at the switch without requiring an entire circuit to be shut off. Push-button lockouts fit over buttons directly on the machinery, while pendant-control lockouts restrict access to buttons on control pendant.
