Pillow Block Bearings
Pillow block bearings have a mounted base that runs parallel to the shaft and allows the shaft to rotate smoothly while the base supports the load. Pillow block ball bearings produce less friction and can run at high speeds with low loads. Pillow block spherical roller bearings support heavy radial loads in applications prone to misalignment and shaft deflection. Pillow block tapered roller bearings support heavy radial, axial, or thrust loads. Split-housing pillow block tapered roller bearings have cartridge inserts that are replaceable without dismantling the system. Tapped-base pillow block ball bearings have a smaller footprint than standard pillow block bearings and are useful in applications that have limited space.
