Manual Generator Transfer Switches
Manual generator transfer switches require activating a toggle to change the source of electrical power from the grid to a generator for running equipment during outages. They allow the generator to supply power through an electrical panel rather than having to disconnect equipment from outlets, run extension cords, and plug in separately to the generator. These subpanels hardwire to a main panel and connect to a generator through an inlet box. They are typically used with portable generators.
