Class A glass burets have high-precision graduations for critical measuring requirements. They're made of borosilicate glass, which has exceptional clarity and high resistance to chemicals and thermal shock.

Class B glass burets are used for general lab applications when high-precision measurements are not required. They're made of soda lime glass that provides good clarity. Class B glass requires more frequent calibration than Class A glass, and has less chemical and thermal shock resistance.
