Glass Beakers
Available123 products
Glass beakers hold and transfer liquids, and are often used to mix samples. They have a wide mouth for easy filling and a spout that minimizes spilling when pouring. The wide, flat bottom stabilizes the beaker when handling or stirring contents. Graduated markings on the sides let you measure contents quickly. Glass is chemical and scratch resistant and doesn't absorb odors. Glass can be sterilized between uses and withstands higher temperatures than plastic, making it a good choice for applications where substances will be heated.
Low Form Glass Beakers
Low-form glass beakers have a lower height-to-width ratio than tall-form beakers, making them a good choice for heating samples. Also called Griffin beakers, they're the standard choice for everyday lab applications.
