Air separators connect to hydronic HVAC systems and remove almost all of the entrained or trapped air from the fluid stream using an internal brush or screen. Removing this air allows the systems to run efficiently and quietly while increasing their lifespan. They are commonly used to handle the smaller, less buoyant bubbles while an air release vent handles the bulk of the non-condensable gases.
