Edgebanders apply veneer strips that glue onto the raw edges of boards to finish and protect them. They press the strips (also known as edging tape) firmly and evenly into place to prevent sliding, bunching, and creeping. Built-in trimmers cut overhanging material to reduce the need for sanding or filing. Edgebanding machines provide more uniform results and quicker application than banding by hand.
