Interchangeable Torque Wrench Heads

Multiple interchangeable torque wrench heads can be used with compatible interchangeable head wrenches. This design allows for multiple heads to work with the same torque wrench and reduce the need for extra torque wrenches. Wrench heads ensure that fasteners are tightened correctly so they are not damaged by overtorquing or loosened over time due to undertorquing.

Open End Torque Wrench Heads
Open end torque wrench heads can access hex head fasteners from the side compared to box-end wrenches that can only access a fastener from the top. They can be used with compatible interchangeable-head wrenches to reduce the need for extra torque wrenches.

Standard Tooling Adapters
These standard tooling adapters are compatible with Sturtevant Richmont interchangeable-head torque wrenches. They permit the fabrication of a custom head that meets the requirements of a particular application. When fabricating special heads to be used with Sturtevant Richmont CCM torque handles other than Model CCM 300 and CCM 400, the 1-1/16'' dimension must be maintained between the inside of the attachment block and the centerline of the torque wrench head. Models CCM 300 and CCM 400 are calibrated to 3-7/8'' common centerline.

12-Point Flare Nut Torque Wrench Heads
These 12-pt. flare nut torque wrench heads have an opening in the wrench head that allows a line or other obstruction to pass through it. Flare nut wrenches provide a more secure grip on the fastener head than an open-end wrench and are for use on soft metals. They can be used with compatible interchangeable-head wrenches to reduce the need for extra torque wrenches.
