Micrometer Torque Wrenches

Micrometer torque wrenches can be set to apply a specific torque (force) to a fastener (such as a nut or bolt) so that the fastener is not damaged by overtorquing or loosens over time due to undertorquing. The handle of the torque wrench is turned (similar to a micrometer) to set the desired torque value. The correctly sized socket is attached to the torque wrench and placed on the fastener. As the wrench is rotated, an audible click will indicate that the desired torque has been reached.
