Chain wrenches and chain tongs are adjustable chains that tighten around an object to grip it so the object can be turned. Chain tongs have an extra-long handle for additional leverage in turning large items.
Double End Chain Wrenches
Double end chain wrenches have a lever with a notched head whose teeth engage the pipe and a short adjustable chain that wraps around the pipe with the chain ends secured to the head. The double end allows turning in either direction without having to remove the tool from the object.

Double End Chain Tongs
These double end chain tongs have an extra-long handle that provides extra leverage for tightening the chain around and turning heavy or stuck objects such as pipe, tubing, and conduit. The double end allows turning in either direction without removing the tool from the object. When the teeth on the jaws become irregular or dull they can be reversed to extend tool life.
