Drum bung and plug wrenches help place or extract drum plugs (bungs). The drum plugs are screwed into a flange on the drum and the wrench is used to fasten the plug to stop leakage. The wrench is often used to slowly loosen plugs which safely releases any pressure inside the drum before the plug is removed.
