Order LookupRatcheting Combination Wrenches
Available20 products
Ratcheting combination wrenches have a box end design on one end of the handle with a gear mechanism that allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the wrench. The box end fits around and grips the entire head of the fastener for more contact than an open end wrench and can apply more torque since the box end is less likely to slip off the fastener compared to an open end design. The opposite end of the wrench has an open end design that allows top and side access to the fastener while the box end can only access a fastener from the top.
Head Size
SAE 12-Point Ratcheting Combination Wrenches
Ratcheting combination wrenches come with an open end and a 12-pt. box end with additional grooves that make it easier to connect with the head of the fastener and connect at more angles for better accessibility compared to a 6-pt. wrench. Combination wrenches have the same SAE (inch) size on each end for use on one specific size fastener. A gear mechanism on the box end allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the tool.

SAE Spline Ratcheting Combination Wrenches
Spline ratcheting combination wrenches have an open end and a spline box end that can be used on 4-pt., 6-pt., 12-pt., or spline fasteners. The box end can apply more torque than a 12-pt. design without stripping the fastener head. Combination wrenches have the same SAE (inch) size on each end for use on one specific size fastener. A gear mechanism on the box end allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the tool.

SAE 6-Point Ratcheting Combination Wrenches
These ratcheting combination wrenches come with an open end and a 6-pt. box end design that allows more contact with the fastener's sides than the 12-pt. style and prevents rounding the fastener's corners. Combination wrenches have the same SAE (inch) size on each end for use on one specific size fastener. A gear mechanism on the box end allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the tool.

SAE Spline Tether-Ready Ratcheting Combination Wrenches
These spline tether-ready ratcheting combination wrenches allow the attachment of a tether where the tether is attached to the user or a fixed object to prevent the wrench from falling and causing injuries or damage when working at height. They have the same SAE (inch) size on each end for use on one specific size fastener. Wrenches have an open end and a spline box end that can be used on 4-pt., 6-pt., 12-pt., or spline fasteners. The box end can apply more torque than a 12-pt. design without stripping the fastener head. A gear mechanism on the box end allows the wrench to rotate freely in one direction without removing the wrench head from the fastener and repositioning the tool.
