Nut Drivers

Available1 product
Nut drivers look similar to a screwdriver, but have a socket attached to a shaft with an attached handle to turn the tool for tightening or loosening nuts and bolts in low-torque applications. These manual tools have sockets that fit around and grip around the entire head of the fastener for a secure fit. They provide more contact to the fastener head than an open-end wrench so the socket is less likely to slip off the fastener when the nut driver is turned. Nut drivers generally have a hollow shaft that allows a threaded bolt to pass through so the tool can turn fasteners on long threaded bolts. They are used for low torque use such as appliance repair and electronics applications.

T-Shaped Insulated Nut Drivers

T-Shaped Insulated Nut Drivers
These T-shaped insulated nut drivers have a T-handle that provides more torque to turn fasteners than nut drivers with a straight handle. The insulated handle and shaft protect against electrical shock from live electrical circuits and are suitable for use near electrical components. The insulated handle also allows for a more secure grip when turning compared to a noninsulated handle.
