Order LookupNut Drivers
Available20 products
Nut drivers look similar to a screwdriver, but have a socket attached to a shaft with an attached handle to turn the tool for tightening or loosening nuts and bolts in low-torque applications. These manual tools have sockets that fit around and grip around the entire head of the fastener for a secure fit. They provide more contact to the fastener head than an open-end wrench so the socket is less likely to slip off the fastener when the nut driver is turned. Nut drivers generally have a hollow shaft that allows a threaded bolt to pass through so the tool can turn fasteners on long threaded bolts. They are used for low torque use such as appliance repair and electronics applications.
Grip Style
Hollow Shank Nut Drivers
Hollow shank nut drivers allow for tightening or loosening of fasteners from either the bolt or nut end due to more clearance inside the driver. The hollow shank fits over longer bolts and studs than other nut drivers.

Fastener-Holding Nut Drivers
Fastener-holding nut drivers come with a magnet built into their socket ends that holds metal nuts and bolts to the driver's shank. This keeps fasteners in place until they're tightened and helps prevent dropping them during installation.
