Order LookupTorx Key Sets
Available6 products
Torx key sets, also known as star bit sets, have a six-point star-shaped pattern where the tip at the end of the shaft is inserted into the Torx indentation in the screw and the key is turned to rotate the screw. Torx tips provide a more secure grip on the fastener head, increase torque transfer, and are less likely to slip out of the head and damage the screwhead and adjacent surfaces compared to slotted head or Phillips head fasteners. Torx keys with a Torx ball end allow fasteners to be accessed from multiple angles in hard to reach areas. They can be L-shaped with two arms of unequal length, one long and one short. The short end can reach fasteners in tight spaces while the long end extends the reach of the tool. Using the long end as a handle provides more torque on the fastener compared to using the short end. T-shaped Torx key sets have one long arm with the drive tip at the end and a handle that can provide more torque when rotating fasteners compared to L-shaped keys.

L-Shaped Torx Key Sets
L-shaped Torx key sets have a tip at the end of each arm that can be inserted into the Torx indentation in the bolt or screwhead and the arm is turned to rotate the fastener. Rotating a fastener using the long end as a handle provides more torque on the fastener compared to using the short end. Sets come with an assortment of Torx keys for a range of fastener head sizes.

L-Shaped Tamper-Resistant Torx Key Sets
These L-shaped tamper-resistant Torx key sets are compatible with tamper-resistant Torx fasteners that are often used in public or commercial areas such as restroom stalls and other locations where theft and vandalism may be a concern. They have a tip at the end of each arm that can be inserted into the Torx indentation in the bolt or screwhead. Rotating a fastener using the long end as a handle provides more torque compared to using the short end. Sets come with an assortment of Torx keys for a range of fastener head sizes.
