Bolt & Chain Cutters
Available71 products
Bolt and chain cutters generate crushing force at their jaws to cut bolts, padlocks, chain, wire mesh, and other items. Also called bolt croppers, their handles swing out on a hinge to open the jaws and swing in to close the jaws. A second hinge behind the jaws concentrates leverage from the handles and squeezes the jaws together to press them through the material being cut.
Heavy-Duty Bolt & Chain Cutters
Heavy-duty bolt cutters maximize crushing force to cut higher-strength steel than general purpose cutters.

Miniature Bolt & Chain Cutters
Miniature bolt cutters fit into tight spaces and make cuts where standard-length cutters would be too long. Their short handles reduce leverage and cutting force, so they are used to cut thinner or softer materials.

Insulated Bolt & Chain Cutters
Nonconductive handle grips on insulated bolt and chain cutters reduce the risk of electrical arcing and protect against electrical shock if the jaws make accidental contact with live circuits. They are commonly used to make cuts when working near electrical components and energized equipment.
