Ratchets
Available169 products
Ratchets, also known as ratcheting socket wrenches, have a handle and a drive end that connects to a socket that turns fasteners such as nuts and bolts. They can speed the turning of fasteners with a mechanism that allows the ratchet to rotate freely in one direction without removing the ratchet head from the fastener and repositioning the tool. Hand ratchets are reversible so the socket can be turned in both directions to rotate fasteners for installation (tighten) or removal (loosen).
Standard-Head Ratchets
Standard-head ratchets can speed the turning of fasteners with a mechanism that allows the tool to rotate freely in one direction without removing the ratchet head from the fastener and repositioning the tool.

Quick Release Offset-Head Ratchets
Quick release offset-head ratchets hold sockets securely on the drive until the button on the ratchet head is pressed to release the socket from the drive. The offset head allows the ratchet to reach fasteners in hard-to-reach spaces.

Flex-Head Ratchet Sets
These flex-head ratchet sets have a hinge close to the head that allows the head to swivel to access fasteners from multiple angles in tight spaces. Sets come with ratchets having different handle lengths where long handles extend the reach of the tool and can increase the amount of torque required to loosen overtightened fasteners. Models with short handles can access fasteners in tight spaces.

Standard-Head Female Ratchets
Standard-head female ratchets have a female drive end instead of a male drive for a low-profile head that allows access for fasteners in tight spaces. They use sockets with a male drive end that fit into the female drive end of the ratchet.

Insulated Standard-Head Ratchets
Insulated standard-head ratchets have an insulated handle to protect against electrical shock from live electrical circuits and are suitable for use near electrical components. The insulated handle also allows for a more secure grip when turning compared to a noninsulated handle.

Tether-Ready Standard-Head Ratchets
These tether-ready standard-head ratchets have a loop or hole that allows the attachment of a tether where the tether is attached to the user or a fixed object to prevent the tool from falling and causing injuries or damage when working at heights.

Standard-Head Scaffolding Ratchets
These standard-head scaffolding ratchets allow sockets to be connected to the drive with a through-hole and pin design that prevents the socket from separating from the ratchet even when the tool is used as a hammer. They have a hammer tip that protects fasteners from damage when struck. Ratchets are suitable for use in scaffolding and other construction applications.

Friction Spanner Ratchets
These friction spanner ratchets have a handle with one end that accepts an insert ring sized to the desired fastener. They act like a ratcheting box wrench except the spanner tool is compatible with a variety of insert rings for a range of fastener head sizes.
