Order LookupBreaker Bars
Available1 product
Breaker bars, also known as power bars, have a long nonratcheting bar that is used with sockets and socket bits to break loose overtightened fasteners. The nonratcheting bar requires the tool to be removed from the fastener and repositioned to turn a fastener. The long handle allows the same amount of force to generate more torque than a standard-length ratchet. Breaker bars are used with sockets and socket bits to rotate fasteners for installation (tighten) or removal (loosen).
Overall Length
Nonsparking Sliding T-Style Breaker Bars
Nonsparking sliding T-style breaker bars won’t spark during use and can loosen overtightened fasteners in locations where flammable vapors or combustible liquids are present. Sliding T-handle bars have a sliding drive plug that the socket or socket bit attaches to and is perpendicular to the bar. The sliding drive plug can be repositioned to make the handle shorter for use in tight spaces or longer to increase the amount of torque required to loosen overtightened fasteners.
