Push-Pullers & Sets

Push-pullers have a bar (cross block) with a forcing screw that moves the bar to apply pushing or pulling force to remove and install parts. They hold a leg in each end of the bar to pull when the forcing screw pushes or to push when the forcing screw pulls. Push-pullers and sets are commonly used to remove parts from shafts, push parts onto shafts, and pull shafts from housings.

These push-pullers use screws as legs that thread into tapped holes on the face of gears, pulleys, and other parts. Also known as gear and pulley pullers, their legs pull the part as their forcing screw pushes until the part pops off of the shaft.
