Insulated Diagonal-Cutting Pliers

Insulated diagonal-cutting pliers trim wire and zip ties, shear through thin screws and nails, and nip and strip wire jackets when working near electrical components and energized equipment. They have non-conductive handle grips that protect against electrical shock if the jaws make accidental contact with live circuits. Also known as wire cutters, their blade-like cutting edges are offset from the handles to cut closely against surfaces. They concentrate leverage in their short jaws to maximize cutting force.
