Order LookupPipe, Tubing & Conduit Hand Cutters
Available7 products
Hand-powered cutters slice through pipe, tubing, or conduit to cut a length for installation or remove damaged sections when making repairs. They make cleaner cuts than saws, leaving smoother edges that require less deburring. Getting an optimal cut requires matching a cutter to the form (pipe, tubing, or conduit) and type (plastic, metal, clay, etc.) of material being cut. Pipe is measured by its nominal inside diameter and typically has thicker walls than tubing and conduit. Tubing and conduit are sized by their outside diameter and typically have thinner walls than pipe.
Material Application
Metal Pipe Cutters
The long, T-grip handle of these pipe cutters creates leverage to rotate the cutting head around metal pipe. They require sufficient clearance to operate the handle. The cutting head clamps onto pipe, pressing the cutter wheels into the material. Turning the handle increases the clamping pressure to drive the wheels deeper into the pipe until they complete the cut.

Clay Pipe Cutters
These pipe cutters snap through clay pipe and other types of soil pipe that carry drain and waste water. Their chain head presses its embedded cutter wheels into the pipe to score it and make a clean break. The chain wraps onto pipe to fit into tight spaces and make cuts close to walls, below floors, and within trenches.
