The crimping tool pinches crimp rings that join cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing to fittings. Its jaws squeeze the ring to clamp the end of tubing onto the fitting and form a proper seal.

Oetiker PEX Ear Clamping Tools
Oetiker clamping tools install PEX-style ear clamps that secure fittings within cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing and form a leak-free seal. Also known as PEX ear clamp pincers, they pinch the projection (ear) of the clamp between their jaws to band it tightly around the tubing and the fitting.

PEX Crimp Ring Removal Tools
Removal tools separate crimp rings from cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing to release fittings for reuse. They anchor their bottom jaw within the fitting and squeeze their top blade to slice through the crimp ring. The ring then slides off of the tubing, allowing the fitting to be removed.
