Soft-Face Split-Head Hammers & Replacement Tips

Soft-face split-head hammers have a removable striking face or tip on each end that allows for changing face materials to suit an application, fitting a different material on each end for greater versatility, and replacing worn faces to restore function. Their head is light with softer face materials that strike more gently than standard steel-face hammers. They lessen the impact of blows to minimize marring of surfaces, especially those prone to damage.

Rubber tips deliver a forceful yet cushioned blow to position stone tiles, set wooden boards and flooring, tap glass into position, and stamp leather. They can be harder to control than other tip materials since they are more prone to bouncing back when delivering strong blows.
