Sledge Hammers

Sledge hammers deliver high-impact blows to drive stakes and posts, loosen parts, strike wedges, and perform demolition work. Also known as sledges, they combine a heavy, double-faced head with a long handle to hit harder than lighter, shorter hammers. The broad face on each end of the head provides a large striking area. Their handle is held with two hands and requires ample space for the large swing to build momentum and maximize striking force.
