Double-Cut & Single-Cut Half-Round Files
Double- and single-cut half-round files provide two different cut styles for rapid stock removal and smoothing with a single tool. The double-cut flat face has two crisscrossing sets of diagonal rows of teeth that slant in opposite directions to remove material more quickly and leave a rougher finish than single-cut teeth. The single-cut rounded face has teeth that run in diagonal rows and one direction to sharpen edges and produce smooth surface finishes.
