Compression Lug & Splice Crimpers

These crimpers operate with two hands, squeezing compression lugs and splices to join them to wire in large-gauge applications. Slots or dies in the crimper jaws are shaped to cradle lug terminals and splice connectors and press them onto wire for a tight bond. Lug and splice crimpers are commonly used to connect wires to battery terminals and power inverters.
Controlled-Cycle Lug & Splice Crimpers
The controlled-cycle mechanism of these lug and splice crimpers ratchets the jaws, crimping to a preset depth and applying pressure evenly for repeatable results without overcrimping. Also known as full-cycle crimpers, they release the jaws after each crimping cycle. They form stronger, more uniform crimps than crimping pliers.

Indent Style Lug & Splice Crimpers
Indent-style crimpers leave a distinctive W-shaped mark that confirms a proper crimp of lug terminals and splice connectors. They ensure that pressure was applied correctly during crimping to keep wire from pulling out and to prevent signal loss or connectivity issues. Their adjustment screw sets the crimping nest within the die to accept different cable sizes.
