Master Keyed Long Shackle Padlocks

Master keyed long shackle padlocks restrict access to property and have a shackle that is greater than 1.5" in vertical shackle clearance. They're commonly used in facilities with multiple departments by restricting workers' access to one department while allowing plant supervisors access to all departments. These padlocks are master keyed, meaning all the padlocks in the same set open with different keys, but they can also be opened with a master key. The included keys have random key numbers; master keys are sold separately.

Brass Lock Body
Brass lock body padlocks resist corrosion, so they can be used both indoors and outdoors to restrict access to property. They have solid bodies, which are more secure than laminated bodies because they don't have exposed rivets that can be tampered with, but they're not as resistant to smashing as solid steel lock body padlocks. They have a long 1.5" or more vertical shackle clearance to secure multiple hasps or fittings. These padlocks are master keyed, so all locks in the set open with different keys but can also be opened with a master key. The included keys have random key numbers; master keys are sold separately.

Laminated Steel Lock Body
Laminated steel lock body padlocks have laminated bodies that are made up of plates of steel fastened with steel rivets and are used for securing goods. They're not as strong as solid steel body locks as the steel rivets can be tampered with. These padlocks are commonly used in indoor applications as they are less corrosion-resistant than brass and covered lock body padlocks. They have a long 1.5" or more vertical shackle clearance to secure multiple hasps or fittings. These padlocks are master keyed, so all locks in the set open with different keys but can also be opened with a master key. The included keys have random key numbers; master keys are sold separately.

Covered Lock Body
Covered lock body padlocks have a cover that resists corrosion and scratches, making them ideal for use both indoors and outdoors to secure access to goods. Different cover materials provide different levels of security. They have a long 1.5" or more vertical shackle clearance to secure multiple hasps or fittings. These padlocks are master keyed, so all locks in the set open with different keys but can also be opened with a master key. The included keys have random key numbers; master keys are sold separately.
