Firestops & Barriers
Firestops and fire barriers prevent flame and smoke from moving between adjoining spaces. They install around openings created to pass pipe, tube, wire, and conduit through a fire-rated wall. Barriers expand when exposed to high heat to close openings. Firestop caulks, putties, sealants, and sprays install around other firestops to ensure small gaps are filled. Firestop passthroughs and collars install directly in the wall and have an integrated intumescent material. Firestop pillows, plugs, sheets, and wraps install around ducts, cable trays, and other openings.
