Type I Barricades

MUTCD-approved Type I barricades control vehicle and pedestrian traffic on low-speed roads with traffic less than 40 mph. Type I barricades have a single horizontal reflective panel with alternating orange and white stripes set at a 45° angle. Type I barricades have less reflective area than Type II or Type III barricades which makes these less visible in low-light settings. These barriers fold for storage and transport.

Type II Barricades

Type II Barricades

Type II barricades control vehicle traffic at night and on high-speed roads. Type II barricades have two horizontal reflective panels with alternating orange and white stripes set at a 45° angle. Two reflective striped panels make them more visible than Type I barricades and less visible than Type III barricades. These barriers fold for improved storage and transport.
