Type I & II Safety Cans
Type I and Type II safety cans store and dispense flammable liquids such as gasoline, diesel, and oil. They are made with durable materials, flame arresters, self-closing caps, and other design features that help prevent spills, fires, and explosions from occurring. When used correctly, these containers meet OSHA requirements for flammable liquid storage. Type I safety cans feature a single large opening for quickly filling and pouring. Type II safety cans feature two spouts, one for filling and one for dispensing. This allows for quick filling and smooth pouring without glugging.
Flammable Liquids Safety Cans
Flammable liquids safety cans dispense and store flammable liquids such as gasoline or alcohol. They are painted or colored red, silver, or white for quick visual identification by employees and first responders.
Type I Safety Cans
Type I safety cans have a single opening for emptying and filling. This opening is wider and pours faster than Type II cans but may cause glugging and splashing when pouring quickly.
