Order LookupHoods for Cleanrooms
Available6 products
Cleanroom hoods are ISO rated and cover the head, neck, and shoulders to prevent hair and skin cells from contaminating the environment. Hoods are loose-fitting to allow masks, eyewear, and other equipment to be worn at the same time. They cover the shoulders and chest so they can be tucked into a coverall. Cleanroom garments are assigned a cleanroom class to indicate which cleanrooms they can be used in. Lower classes (ISO 1) indicate a cleaner garment than higher classes (ISO 9).
ISO Cleanroom Class
ISO 5 Clean-Processed & Non-Sterile Hoods
ISO 5 clean-processed, nonsterile cleanroom hoods are used in ISO 5 to ISO 9 cleanrooms. Clean-processed garments are individually packaged in a cleanroom to minimize particulates that might transfer to the garment during processing, further reducing shedding.

ISO 5 Clean-Processed & Sterile Hoods
ISO 5 clean-processed, sterile cleanroom hoods are used in ISO 5 to ISO 9 cleanrooms. Sterile and clean-processed garments have been processed to kill microorganisms to reduce the risk of contamination and infection. They are packaged in a cleanroom to minimize particulates that might transfer to the garment during processing, further reducing shedding.
