Valve Lockout Devices

Available94 products
Valve lockout devices prevent energy isolation valves from being opened while downstream pipe and equipment are being worked on. The valve is closed to de-energize the pipe before the lockout is applied. A padlock is installed through the lockout to ensure it can't be removed by unauthorized personnel. Valve lockouts are specific to the type of valve and valve handle being secured. Universal lockouts secure all types of valves. These devices are an integral part of a facility lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedure designed to meet the OSHA standard for the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout).
