Suspensions for Hard Hats and Helmets

Hard hat and helmet suspensions are the part of the hard hat or helmet that rests on the wearer's head. Suspensions provide a gap between the head gear and head, which helps absorb shock and redirect impact force away from the head and spine. Hard hat suspension replacement should be completed yearly as part of normal maintenance and inspection practices or earlier if the suspension shows signs of wear.
