Order LookupGlove Box Gloves
Available3 products
Glove box gloves (sometimes called dry box gloves) allow workers to handle sensitive materials inside the box. Gloves are permanently installed in the box and workers put their hands in the gloves from outside the box. They extend past the shoulder to allow workers to reach all areas of the box and have large-diameter cuffs to fit the openings in the glove box. Thicker gloves provide better protection and have a longer lifespan but are less tactile than thinner gloves. Glove boxes are used in laboratory or research settings when handling sensitive or dangerous materials.
Brand
Neoprene Glove-Box Gloves
These glove box gloves are made of neoprene. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber that resists a variety of substances including oils, acids, alcohols, fats, ketones, solvents, greases, and petrochemicals. It is flexible and provides excellent tensile strength and heat resistance. Thicker gloves provide better protection and have a longer lifespan, but are less tactile than thinner gloves. Gloves are permanently installed in the box and workers put their hands in the gloves from outside the box.

Butyl Glove-Box Gloves
These butyl gloves are used to handle objects in dry glove boxes. Butyl gloves have a high permeation resistance to gases and water vapors and provide heavy chemical resistance to esters, ketones, and acids. Butyl is very elastic and remains flexible at low temperatures. Thicker gloves provide better protection and have a longer lifespan, but are less tactile than thinner gloves. Gloves are permanently installed in the box and workers put their hands in the gloves from outside the box.
