Spun yarn construction makes knit gloves formfitting. ANSI/ISEA cut levels indicate the level of protection provided. Higher numbers indicate more cut protection but they generally have less dexterity than gloves with lower levels of cut protection.

Medium cut-level knit gloves with foam silicone coating provide a good grip when handling wet and dry workpieces. Medium cut levels (ANSI A4-A5) protect against cuts caused when performing automotive assembly and mining tasks, encountering sharp edges on ductwork, and handling recycling materials. Foam silicone a cushioned base with a tacky surface to provide a secure, slip-resistant grip when handling wet and dry workpieces. Silicone also prevents some substances from sticking to it's surface.
