Chemical-Resistant Antistatic Gloves

Chemical-resistant antistatic gloves are worn when working with chemical sprays and finishes or when working with sensitive electronic equipment where static electricity and chemical contact are a concern. They are made of materials that prevent the buildup of static electricity that, when discharged, can damage sensitive electronic equipment. Chemical-resistant gloves are made of rubber polymers that withstand exposure to acids, bases, solvents, and other chemicals. Gloves with higher levels of protection are generally thicker than gloves with lower levels of protection. Thinner gloves have a better sense of touch and less chemical resistance than thicker gloves.

These antistatic chemical-resistant gloves are made of PVC and have a supported cotton/polyester lining. Antistatic gloves are made of conductive fibers and coatings that prevent the buildup of static electricity that, when discharged, can damage sensitive equipment or create dangerous sparks.Polyvinylchloride (PVC) gloves are abrasion-resistant and provide excellent resistance to acids, fats, and petroleum hydrocarbons. PVC remains flexible at a wide range of temperatures and can be used at low temperatures such as those encountered when working outdoors with refrigerated items. Cotton/polyester blend liners absorb moisture to keep hands dry and comfortable. Polyester is a synthetic fabric that wicks moisture and allows the fabric to dry faster than full cotton liners. Supported gloves incorporate the liner into the glove for better durability over unsupported gloves, making them a good choice for tasks when gloves are fully submerged in liquid.
