Order LookupGeneral Purpose Chemical-Resistant Gloves
Available8 products
General purpose chemical-resistant gloves are made of rubber polymers that withstand exposure to acids, bases, solvents, and other chemicals. They are worn by workers who are exposed to hazardous liquids when exposure to other hazards (such as cuts and heat) are not a concern. Gloves with higher levels of protection are generally thicker than gloves with lower levels of protection. Thinner gloves have a better sense of touch and less chemical resistance than thicker gloves.
Glove Liner Material
PVC Chemical-Resistant Gloves with Cotton Fleece Liner, Unsupported
These PVC chemical-resistant gloves have an unsupported cotton fleece liner. Polyvinylchloride (PVC) gloves are abrasion-resistant and provide excellent resistance to acids, fats, and petroleum hydrocarbons. PVC remains flexible at a wide range of temperatures and can be used at low temperatures such as those encountered when working outdoors with refrigerated items. Cotton fleece liners are soft and keep hands warm. Cotton is generally more comfortable and breathable than blended materials. Unsupported gloves have a good sense of touch and are less durable than supported gloves, making them a good choice when gloves come into contact with chemicals but are not fully submerged.
