Tool Tethers

Tool tethers (sometimes called tool lanyards) connect tools to anchor points to prevent dropped tools from injuring workers below. A connection point on each end of the tether connects a tool to an anchor point. Tool tethers are load-rated to ensure the tool can be fully supported if dropped.

Coiled Tool Tethers
Coiled tool tethers connect tools to an anchor point. A tightly coiled loop reduces lanyard length to help prevent snags and tangle hazards. The coil extends when the tool is dropped to absorb shock. The coil retracts to the original position to retrieve the tool after it falls.
