Self-Retracting Lifelines & Fall Protection Lanyards
Self-retracting lanyards (SRLs) and fall protection lanyards connect a fall harness to an anchor point to prevent workers from freefalling when working at heights. Self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) have a housing that dispenses and retracts lifeline as the worker moves and locks the lifeline when a fall is detected. Shock-absorbing lanyards absorb energy and dampen the jolt to the body when a fall is arrested, helping to reduce the risk of fall injuries. Positioning and restraint lanyards attach to hip belts or fall harnesses to keep the worker correctly positioned while working, which keeps hands free for work and reduces the energy it takes to work in place for long periods of time.
