Safety Harnesses for Positioning

Available5 products
Safety harnesses for positioning have one D-ring on the upper back and two or more D-rings on the hip straps. The D-rings on the hip straps connect to positioning and restraint lanyards that help keep the wearer positioned correctly near the work while working at heights. This keeps the wearer's hands free to do work and reduces the energy it takes to stay in place while working. The D-ring on the upper back attaches to a self-retracting lifeline or shock-absorbing lanyard that connects to a secure anchor point. Safety harnesses for positioning are often used for construction applications such as foundation building and rebar work.

Arc-Flash Rated Vest-Style Harnesses for Positioning

Arc-Flash Rated Vest-Style Harnesses for Positioning
Arc-flash rated vest-style positioning safety harnesses have two vertical shoulder straps that have webbing and a buckle to connect across the chest for a secure fit. Vest-style harnesses are easier to put on and take off than crossover harnesses. Arc-flash rated safety harnesses will not burn, melt, or conduct energy during an arc flash. They're worn by people working at height in areas where an arc flash may occur, such as utility, oil and gas, and construction workers.
