Order LookupSafety Harnesses for Positioning, Climbing & Confined Spaces
Available14 products
Safety harnesses for positioning, climbing, and confined spaces protect workers from falls and raise and lower workers when working at height. They have one back D-ring, one chest D-ring, two or more hip D-rings, and two shoulder D-rings. The chest D-ring allows the harness to be used with a ladder-climbing system to provide fall protection as the worker climbs or descends a ladder or tall structure. The hip D-rings connect to lanyards that help keep the wearer positioned correctly while working at heights, leaving hands free and reducing the energy it takes to stay in place. The shoulder D-rings connect to a lanyard spreader that distributes force evenly across the body as the wearer is raised out of or lowered into a confined space. They also provide extra connection points for rescue or extraction. The back D-ring connects to a self-retracting lifeline or shock-absorbing lanyard that attaches to a secure anchor point.
Vest-Style Harnesses for Positioning, Climbing & Confined Spaces
Vest-style safety harnesses for positioning, climbing, and confined spaces have two vertical shoulder straps that have webbing and a buckle to connect across the chest for a secure fit. Vest-style harnesses are easier to put on and take off than crossover harnesses.
