Bosun's chairs and seat slings allow workers to sit and work while suspended. They help keep suspended workers comfortable by relieving pressure on their legs and hips and by taking some of the weight of the workers’ equipment off their body. They attach to a full-body safety harnesses as part of a fall arrest system and do not provide fall protection on their own.
Bosun's Chairs
Bosun's chairs (sometimes called boatswain chairs) attach overhead and are compatible with any harness. They are commonly used by window washers, painters, and workers who are performing repairs on structures and ships.
