Telescoping Post Anchors & Components

Telescoping post anchors and components work together to create a davit system used to arrest falls and raise and lower workers over edges or into confined spaces. They accept extensions and attachments (such as davit arms) to protect against vertical fall hazards. Posts attach to a base that is permanently mounted to a secure surface. The post can be moved and attached to another base as needed. Workers wearing a fall protection harness and lanyard or self-retracting lifeline (SRL) connect the lanyard to the anchor. A horizontal lifeline can be strung between two posts.
Telescoping Post Anchor Masts
Telescoping post anchors (sometimes called masts) connect to a base or installed anchor to arrest falls and raise and lower workers. D-rings provide a tie-off point for a lanyard or SRL. The height adjusts to adapt to different worksites and to allow workers to connect at standing height. Arms can be added to extend the horizontal reach.

Anchor Plates for Telescoping Post Anchors
