These permanent anchors penetrate membrane roofs to create a tie-off point for self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), lanyards, and vertical or horizontal lifelines. Compatible toggles attach the anchor by passing through the roof membrane. Though designed specifically to be used on membrane roofs, they can also be used with concrete, metal, and wood roofs that meet minimum standards. A swiveling anchoring ring provides good mobility for the worker. Permanent anchors are installed when roof access or maintenance is required on a regular basis. They cannot be removed and reinstalled in another location.
