ANSI defines the range for tepid water as 60°-100° F. They are installed with other eyewash and shower equipment to create an ANSI-compliant installation.

These thermostatic mixing valves are ASSE 1071-certified for use with emergency eyewash and safety shower units. Thermostatic mixing valves feed hot and cold water together to dispense tepid water at a temperature that meets OSHA regulations for flushing skin and eyes.
