Safety showers flush hazardous substances from a worker's body. Sometimes called drench showers, they install in labs, manufacturing facilities, and other areas where chemicals can come into contact with workers. Showers connect to a plumbed water supply to provide a continuous stream of water for the required duration. These ANSI-compliant showers have a handle that activates water flow and stays on for at least 15 minutes or until deactivated.The ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard meets OSHA requirements for safety showers and eyewash stations when they're used as an integral part of a fully compliant installation and inspection plan.

Freeze-Resistant Wall-Mount Showers
These wall-mount safety showers install in climates where temperatures can drop below freezing. Freeze-resistant units have supply lines and valves that install in a heated space on the opposite side of a wall to prevent lines from freezing. They fully drain after use to prevent standing water from freezing. Wall-mount safety showers connect to a plumbed water source inside a wall. The head protrudes horizontally from the wall and takes up less space than floor-mount units.
