Order LookupEyewash Stations
Available4 products
Eyewash stations flush harmful chemicals and contaminants from the eyes only or eyes and face. These ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-compliant stations turn on with a single motion and remain open for at least 15 minutes or until turned off. Eyewash stations are installed in easily accessible and visible locations throughout facilities such as hospitals, labs, and chemical plants. The ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard meets OSHA requirements for safety showers and eyewash stations when they're used as an integral part of a fully compliant installation and inspection plan.
Hazardous Location Rating
Hazardous Location Freeze-Resistant Heat-Trace Floor-Mount Eyewash Stations
These heat-trace floor-mount eyewash stations meet NFPA 70 NEC standards for use in hazardous locations. Hazardous location equipment is installed where flammable vapor, combustible dust, or ignitable flyings are present. It keeps arcs and sparks contained so explosive substances present in the air won't have a source of ignition. Heat-trace elements wrap around pipes and connect to a power source to keep water temperatures above freezing so water flows freely. Floor-mount (sometimes called pedestal-mount) eyewash stations connect to a plumbed water source. They stand away from the wall and take up more space than in-wall units.
