Surface Design

Ribbed has raised ribs in one direction along the length of the mat to scrape debris from footwear.
Full Coverage Grit has grit across the entire surface to increase slip resistance over stripped surfaces.
Multi-Strip Grit has gaps between the gritted surfaces to increase wear resistance and allow dirt and moisture to drain off the surface.
Raised Discs allows moisture to move away from the surface to increase slip resistance over flat surfaces and grip shoes and wheels on steps and ramps.
Cross-Hatch has a cross-hatched design that provides extreme wear resistance in corrosive or rugged indoor or outdoor environments.
Double-Strip Grit has two wide strips have a narrow strip near the nosing and a wider strip toward the riser. The gap between strips increases wear resistance over full-grit coverage.
Single-Strip Grit has one gritted strip at the front of these nosings provides slip resistance where visitors are most likely to step.

Fasteners indicates the nosing is installed using fasteners that are compatible with the substrate.

Antislip stair nosings prevent slipping in wet, oily, or dirty environments. They cover the front and fore edge of the stair tread to provide traction and wear resistance where people most often step on the stair. Nosings cover 6" or less of the stair. A lip covers the fore edge from wear caused by incidental bumps or equipment movement.
