Clear polycarbonate sheets and bars, also known as PC sheets and bars, are made of a durable thermoplastic that provides a continuous-use temperature range of up to 265°F (129°C). These sheets and bars are 20 times stronger than acrylic and keep their physical properties over a broad range of operating temperatures; they’re also 200 times stronger than glass. They are commonly used to make machine guards, windows and windshields, and safety shields and sports equipment.
General Purpose Polycarbonate Sheets
These clear polycarbonate sheets are over 200 times stronger than glass and have an excellent balance of engineering properties. Also known as PC, these sheets are stable and offer a continuous use temperature range of up to 265°F (129°C). They are commonly used for windows or windshields and other see-through applications.
